This page is maintained by The VP Suite to answer common privacy questions about The VP Suite. It describes the data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. This is not a certification or legal opinion — it is an editable summary of current practices.

What we collect

We collect information you choose to give us when you apply or use the platform:

  • Founders: name, email, company name, website, stage, and the marketing challenge you describe. Your challenge is processed by an AI model to suggest relevant executive matches.
  • Executives: name, email, location, LinkedIn profile URL, photo, hourly rate, weekly availability and timezone, profile visibility preference, and the reasons you select for joining.
  • LinkedIn data: if you choose to sign in with LinkedIn, we receive basic profile information (name, email, headline, photo, country) through LinkedIn's official sign-in service. We do not scrape LinkedIn profiles.
  • Bookings and payments: when a founder books a session with an executive, payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We store the booking record and receipt metadata but never see or store full card details.
  • Technical data: standard browser and device data, IP address, and cookies used to keep the site secure and functional.

How we use your information

  • Review applications and verify that members fit the community.
  • Match founders with relevant executives, enable introductions, and schedule sessions.
  • Process bookings and payments for advisory sessions.
  • Communicate with you about your application, account, bookings, and platform updates.
  • Keep the platform secure, prevent abuse, and improve the experience.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your contact details with other members unless you explicitly choose to connect, approve a match, or confirm a booking.

Profile visibility choices

Executives choose how their profile appears to founders on the platform:

  • Visible to startups (not on Google): name, photo, headline, and current and past companies are visible to founders browsing the platform. Profiles are excluded from search-engine indexing.
  • Semi-anonymous: only first name and last initial, expertise, and seniority are shown. No photo, no employer.
  • Anonymous: the profile is hidden from browse. We match you 1:1 with founders behind the scenes.

No executive profile is indexed by search engines — every profile page carries a "noindex" tag regardless of visibility level. You can change your visibility preference at any time from your dashboard.

Hosting, payments, and subprocessors

The VP Suite is built on Lovable Cloud, which provides the database, hosting, and authentication services. The underlying platform is operated by Lovable and its infrastructure partners (not by The VP Suite). Payments for advisory sessions are processed by Stripe, sign-in with LinkedIn is provided by LinkedIn, and matching uses an AI model provider to analyze founder challenges. Data is stored in secure, managed environments. A full list of subprocessors is available on request.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, complete the LinkedIn sign-in flow, and remember your preferences. We may use basic analytics to understand how visitors use the site, but we do not use invasive tracking or advertising cookies.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing the privacy contact below. We may retain some records where required by law or to resolve disputes.

Your rights and choices

You can ask to access, update, or delete your personal information. You can also change your marketing preferences and profile visibility settings. To make a request, contact us at the email below.

Security and incidents

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including access controls, encrypted connections, and secure hosting. If you discover a security issue or suspect unauthorized access, please report it to us immediately.
